FEMME RAGE THE SHORT FILM
A poetic rendering of QTBIPOC femme anger, uncensored. Visceral in its honesty, this film captures raw expressions of rage in response to multiple oppressions. Words from bell hooks and Angela Davis intertwine with imagery of Black and Brown femmes releasing screams from their depths, sharpening their tools, and marching in the streets. The Femme Rage Deity speaks in poetry proclaiming that our rage is ancient, our rage is sacred, and our rage is a tool for transformation.
FEMME RAGE TRILOGY 3 FILMS
This trailblazing trilogy evokes a history and praxis of survival among QTBIPOC femmes that is rarely seen on screen. The three films, Femme Rage, Femme Release, and Femme Renewal visually validate the experiences of femmes of color and how we heal from trauma. This trilogy is a beacon of hope, a blazing spotlight, and an empowering project to inspire all who watch it to stand up, speak out, and join the movement for femme liberation.
